Hypnosis

CHANGE YOUR LIFE - Achieve quick results in behavior change

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a deep form of relaxation, where both your body and mind become calm. It is a natural state that everyone experiences from time to time. Think of the moment just before you fall asleep or when you are daydreaming.

Hypnosis can help people with various challenges, such as losing weight, quitting smoking, gaining more self-confidence, or overcoming fears. A coach uses hypnosis to help clients achieve their desired results.

How does hypnosis work?

The well-known hypnotherapist Milton Erickson described hypnosis as "losing distractions." This means that when you focus on one thing, other things receive less attention. What you focus on influences your thoughts and feelings.

A good example is watching television. When you are deeply engaged in an exciting show, you may forget what is happening around you. Your attention is fully on the screen. This is similar to a hypnotic trance—a state where your focus is directed, both inward and outward.

Trance is a different state of awareness. Everyone moves through different states of consciousness throughout the day, such as during yoga, meditation, or when you are fully absorbed in a book. Hypnosis deliberately brings about this state, allowing you to see things from a new perspective and gain fresh insights.

Hypnosis and the subconscious mind

During a hypnosis session, a coach guides you into deep relaxation, also known as a trance. In this state, it is easier to connect with your subconscious mind—the part of your brain where deep-rooted thoughts, emotions, and habits are stored.

Through positive suggestions, hypnosis helps break old patterns and develop new beliefs. This makes it a valuable tool for personal growth, therapy, and coaching.

How quickly does hypnosis work?

Hypnosis often works surprisingly fast. Sometimes, just a few sessions are enough to create lasting change. In some cases, more sessions are needed, depending on the person and the goal.

Hypnosis is a powerful technique that helps you achieve deep and lasting transformation.
